An idea based on school picture proofs....I've done some paintings based on this idea.
Most of the paintings and photographs though, have nothing to do with school portraits.

My immediate feeling towards this image is that;

It's more of a statement of proof that I was here.

It also relates to the idea that this is just an image waiting for "approval"

3-D Collages

These are done with 3-D images. I did these two a few years ago I'm going back to add some more pieces to this series. The images are 12" x 12". I like these very much. I had been looking for the images in Matamoros, Brownsville, the flea market..etc. since 1996. I didn't put these together until 2006. I even bought my own 3-D camera to take 3-D images.

Egotism/ It's Just Politics

These are a few examples of a series of paintings that involved t-shirts, mugs, and stickers. They are a continuation of my Egotism Series. In this series I base it mainly on political signs, focusing on the promises that candidates make during a political campaign.
